Ampex MiniR 700 Mini-Recorder
The Ampex MiniR 700 Mini-Recorder is designed and built to be physically and electrically compatible with the Ampex AMux 600 I/O Modules. However, it can also be configured for other data input types such as Ethernet, etc. The 14GB, 28 GB, 56 GB, 112 GB or 224 GB of solid-state storage provided by the Mini-Recorder is housed in the mini-Removable Memory Module (mRMM). Recorded data may be downloaded either directly from the MiniR 700 or using a special docking station that accepts the mRMM. The Mini-Recorder Base Unit provides various interfaces such as IRIG-B Time Code channel, Ethernet, RS232 and discrete controls suitable for use with a remote cockpit control panel. I/O Modules designed for use with the IRIG 106 Chapter 10 compliant Ampex External Multiplexer (AMux600) can be used to support multiple Video, Audio, PCM, Analog, MIL-1553B and 8, 16 or 32 bit Parallel Data.

DSRs 400B Solid State Data Recorder
A sealed, non volatile, solid state (flash) memory cartridge enables the recorder to operate at high altitude and under severe vibration and shock conditions typically encountered in airborne applications. Hard mounting and conduction cooling makes most difficult installations possible. The removable memory modules can be played back via a PC-based network attached ground system.

DDRs 400 Digital Data Recorder
The DDRs 400 Digital Data Recorder is designed for airborne applications requiring high data rate and storage capacity. A standard DCRsi interface provides plug compatibility in existing DCRsi installations. Capability to dub into a DIS recorder facilitates mass storage of data in automated libraries.

DSRs 410 Playback Ground Station
The Solid State or Disk Removable Memory Modules (RMMs) are inserted into the RMM Port located in the front of the DSRs 410.  The ground station is 19” rack-mountable PC-Hosted Windows Linux, network attached platform.

Ampex DSRs 420 Rackmount recorder
The DSRs 420 uses Windows or Linux operating systems and is designed for standard 19” rackmount. The Solid State or Disk Removable Memory Modules (RMMs) plug into the RMM Port located in the front of the recorder.

Ampex Rugged RAID
The R•RAID is a Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID), optimized for data storage on mobile platforms (aircraft, ships, vehicles). The ATR-form factor R•RAID is designed for hard-mounting; 38999-style connectors available per request. For high-altitude operation, a fan-less, conduction cooled version is available. The R•RAID is a fast, OS-independent hardware RAID. A two-port fiber optic 4 GFC Fibre-channel interface connects the RAID to the host. Sixteen 2.5” SATA drives can flexibly be grouped in one or more volumes with RAID level 0, 1, 10, 3, 5, or 6 protection for high-availability storage with a high degree of fault tolerance.
The disk array accepts any standard 2.5” SATA disk drive. For the largest capacity, standard lap-top drives can be used; for extreme environments, extreme environment disk drives or solid-state flash drives may be used.

Ampex Multiplexer (AMux 600) Product Line
The AMux 600 multiplexer features IRIG 106 Chapter 10 compliant packetization. It is designed for rugged and harsh airborne environments. Input channels are provided in modular forms that can be combined and configured to suit different application requirements. A Mux Adapter is needed in the DSRs 400/440 for connecting to an AMux 600. The Mux Adapter also accepts one mezzanine card. When the number of input channels is small, the multiplexer system may be reduced into an “internal” version that consists of only the Mux Adapter and one mezzanine card. The internal version may also be expanded to include the AMux 600 as the input requirement increases. The recorded data is demultiplexed via software on a Windows Linux-based platform on Ampex Model DSRs 410/420 Ground Playback Systems.

OC3 I/O Interface
The OC3 I/O interface now makes it possible to store and forward data in high speed telecommunications format. Used in conjunction with Ampex’s DDRS or DSRS, the OC3 I/O allows for data capture and sub-sequent real time processing without the need for intermediate dubbing to another media format

The PCI-400 is an interface between the AMPEX DCRsi / DDRs / DSRs range of recorders and ground station to peripheral component interconnect (PCI) bus on the IBM-compatible personal computers.
